Hey mate,
Saw you had the same issue i used to have with Photobucket shrinking shit down (Thread:"2D box to 3D box"). Its very annoying but you can fix that.

On your main page, under the big blue button that says "Upload images and Videos" you'll see a line of text underneath it that says "Hold CTRL for multipul files", then right next to it, it should say, in brackets, "More Options". Click on that, then set your basic image dimensions to "1MB file size". This stops the re-sizing!! Keep in mind the image must be under 1MB or it will resize.compress it to fit but thats not really a big issue. You will have to upload anything else you've uploaded prior as it keeps it at the settings that were current at that time, which is a pain, but it will stay current from now on for all images you go to upload.

Hope that helps mate, it used to piss me off hard when it did that. And i know you didn't ask for help but i had the same issue so i thought i'd give some advice.
