[re: v1] | This is it...my one year-anniversary box. Sadly, it's also probably my last box for a very long time, as I'll be working on my portfolio at DA over the summer. The interesting thing is that instead of applying everything I've learned over the past year, I decided to toss it all out of the window. Part of the reason why I haven't designed in a while, is because I'm tired of the conventional way of making boxes- I wanted to do something TRULY different. Alas, this is the product of that. What I realized is that it's not about whatever expression the game or others demand of my design, it's about what I want to express through this box. That said, this is without a doubt my best box yet. Countless hours were spent on this, half of which was just thinking of the concepts I want to integrate and how I can truly break from the mundane. This is all about style, which dictates every tiny detail of this box- lots of pen-tool/vector work. Also, it's become more than an experimental box as I was designing it and I'm truly happy and proud to present this to you guys this last time. Best enjoyed in full and cheers! -LK P.S.
