[re: v1] | Hola! This (as you can see) is my submission for the 2009 BYTD Fall Party. Although I tried to keep it simple (much like my Peace Walker box,) this is easily my most complex piece of work to date: so much time and effort was spent into getting everything right. This is also my largest work to date---my PSD was about 30MB, and I had to struggle to make it fit the simple 7.5MB guideline. As for the box...you can see it has a comic book vibe going for it. I wanted to really accentuate the crazy-vivid visuals of Borderlands, so naturally making the box look like a comic-book was the way to go. And just a note guys...I appreciate that you like my work enough to add it to your Favourites, but PLEASE comment on the box, whether you like it or not. I know I've done some shitty things, but please don't let my artwork suffer for it. I always love to hear from all of you, so please, drop your opinion whether it is good or bad. [re: v1] | I am in agreement with Marker, but to me the only empty space is the bottom half (below the logo) of the front cover. Pretty cool box, karma. Perhaps you could also use the torsos of the main characters. Maybe that would fill up the front space better. Edited @ 3:35PM 11/08/09 |
