So here is my latest box. After living through the hype that is the amazing Nintendo E3 2010 conference and witnessing the reveal and subsequent features announcing of the Nintendo 3DS, my fanboy inside me took over and made this box. I'm also pretty sure that this is the first 3DS box evar (at least, classified as one since Grand's Kid Icarus box was first), so I'm pretty proud of that.
Thanks to Spiderpig, Venom, Cerium, Spypilot, beardedwalrus, Karma, affifan, rpgfreak, Squall, Jbone, Js2kings, Beer, and Adhiboy for helping me out in the WIP thread.
Also, huge thanks to beardedwalrus for the awesome 3DS template which you can find in his resources thread.
Very professional and well though out, I like the 3DS bundle case. The front of the Kid Icarus case is nice and simplistic, but I think the back could have been a bit more imaginative.
Like I said in the forums, everything looks great. The bundle is very professional looking, and I really like what you did with the DS on the front. The actual box looks very nice too, awesome job!
#6 I'm abandoning my Mario and Luigi idea. :)
#12 Idk, I'm pretty satisfied with it.
#13 I actually added a lot more to the front cover. I added an extra feather, stairs behind the logo, and marble pillars next to the door so it wasn't as empty. But to each his own. :)
#15 Thank you! But what I tried to do is sharply contrast the front and the back's orange and black feel. You see, the front has minimal orange and tons of black, while the back has minimal black with tons of orange. I understand many people may not like this design choice.
could you possibly PM me the template used in this box? I have a concept I was going to try out, and this box really inspired me to follow up with the idea. + fave.
Hey guys. I guess I should credit Manuel Alejandro for the back info on the temp. I have a temp up in my resource thread now that is completely my own, but the one used in this box has the back info from his temp.

Brilliant stuff, but I've also come to expect that from you now.
My only nitpick is that its too similar to your Mario and Luigi 3DS box from the WIP. Do you plan on archiving that as well?

It's so cool. Great way to start off 3DS. I can't believe that the 3DS has almost like Wii graphics.

This is nice. But the front cover of the 3ds game looks too simple to make.

I think it would be better if the front was while with that same orange feel given on the back. Then you could have the black logo.
